The Student PIRGs' New Voters Project What's Your Plan? campaign is asking presidential candidates "What's your plan..." on critical issues.
Young people are going to vote in 2008 and will vote even more if the Presidential candidates target young people. Not just with big smiles and empty rhetoric, but with substance, engaging us in conversations about the issues we care about. Issues like global warming, college affordability, health care, and financial security.
These are critical issues, and we’re the generation who will be most affected by them. So we’re not waiting for the candidates to come to us - we’re going directly to them and asking one simple question: “What’s Your Plan?” on global warming. On college affordability. On affordable health care. And on financial security.
So, if you could ask the presidential candidates about any issue, what would it be? (What's your plan on [insert issue here]?)
