ORGANIZATIONS & ADVOCACY CAMPAIGNS Health08 - health08.org is part of a broad effort by the Kaiser Family Foundation to provide a central hub for resources and information about health policy issues in the 2008 election. The site -- operated by Kaiser staff -- provides analysis of policy issues, regular public opinion surveys, daily news updates, video of speeches and debates from the campaign trail, original interviews and resources for journalists covering the election. Voice for the Uninsured - We want to give voice to the 45 million Americans without health insurance. Alliance for Health Reform - The Alliance for Health Reform is a bipartisan, nonprofit organization that conducts health policy briefings on Capitol Hill in Washington for congressional staff and media. The Alliance also publishes resource books on health policy topics such as health expenditures, assists journalist nationwide to develop articles and broadcasts on health issues, and maintains a source list of hundreds of health care experts National Coalition on Health Care - The National Coalition on Health Care is nonprofit, nonpartisan, representative alliance working to improve America's health care. The Coalition brings together large and small businesses, labor unions, consumer groups, religious groups and primary care providers dedicated to the achievement of better, more affordable health care.
