Energy Action Coalition - Energy Action is a coalition of more than 40 organizations from across the US and Canada, founded and led by youth to help support and strengthen the student and youth clean energy movement in North America. Energy Action Coalition initiatives include Power Shift, the Campus Climate Challenge , ItsGettingHotInHere.org , and Focus the Nation .

Student Environmental Action Coalition - SEAC-pronounced "seek," as in "seeking" -is a grassroots coalition of student and youth environmental groups, working together to protect our planet and our future.     Many of my (and maybe yours) good friends and loved ones and fellow resisters are out fighting for what they know is right, an end to this fucked up war, and end to globalization and exploitation of the earth and its inhabitants.

    This week over 100 of folks from an organisation called Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) and thousands of others called for a meeting with the dnc and obama to ask for immediate withdrawl from iraq, and no occupation of iran. After much pressure one man got permission to talk with obama campaign representitives to talk about what the ivaw wants to see from obama's presidency: immediate withdrawal of American troops, full veterans benefits, and reparations for the Iraqi people.

    Mean while we sit here and watch this all happen on the media that is spinning it to be violent protesters and potential terrorists in black masks, provoking violence from the cops. when in reality it is the cops provoking violence on an outward non violent group of people exorsizing their right to free speech and peaceful assembly.
